诗人简介：木心（1927年2月14日—2011年12月21日），本名孙璞，字仰中，号牧心，笔名木心，中国当代作家、画家，在台湾和纽约华人圈被视为深解中国传统文化的精英和传奇人物。出版多部著作。1927年生于浙江嘉兴市桐乡乌镇东栅。毕业于上海美术专科学校。1982年定居纽约。2011年12月21日3时逝世于故乡乌镇，享年84岁。

《从前慢》是木心先生创作的一首诗歌，被收录在《云雀叫了一整天》里。2011年底，木心先生去世。《从前慢》开始被人传颂，从贴吧、微博到微信朋友圈，这首诗被当成了情诗，广为流传。

记得早先少年时

大家诚诚恳恳

说一句 是一句

清早上火车站

长街黑暗无行人

卖豆浆的小店冒着热气

从前的日色变得慢

车，马，邮件都慢

一生只够爱一个人

从前的锁也好看

钥匙精美有样子

你锁了 人家就懂了
